The Department is recruiting State-wide for front line staff on a permanent, temporary or casual basis with full-time or part-time employment opportunities available.

The Department has a ‘continuous’ Youth Officer Recruitment process; that is, applicants can download an application form and lodge it at any time. When a sufficient number of applications have been received, applicants will be contacted by the Department to attend Suitability Testing in Sydney or regional locations.

Recruitment processes are conducted as required; applicants may experience some delay between various selection stages. Where progressed, applicants may encounter delays of several months to commence of employment.

The Department schedules the Induction Training and Assessment Program (ITAP) on a regular basis, with successful applicants receiving as much notice as possible to attend.
